From colourful misshapen vegetables to overlooked kitchen staples, every ingredient has a story and every meal tells a story of transformation; of food, of resources, and of the lives it touches.

Our team prepares and serves fresh homemade food from the hatch while sharing the powerful story behind surplus food. Every bite reflects creativity, sustainability, and real community impact.

Serving our communities with the AIB Community Meals Programme. 

At FoodCloud, we believe everyone deserves access to nutritious, delicious food. Yet many of our community and partners operate on tight budgets, making it challenging to provide high-quality meals at scale.

That’s where FoodCloud Kitchen steps in to offer affordable, chef-prepared meals made from surplus ingredients, helping organisations feed more people without compromising on quality.

A major step forward for FoodCloud Kitchen has been the launch of the AIB FoodCloud Community Meals Programme. With AIB’s support through both funding and volunteering, we are able to grow this initiative and significantly expand our impact across Ireland.

Together, we aim to:

  • Deliver 200,000 meals.
  • Rescue 100 tonnes of surplus food.
  • Support community organisations nationwide.

The ingredients we cook with are high quality food that happens to be surplus.

FoodCloud works with over 200 farmers, producers, distributors, retailers and manufacturers across Ireland. Together, we rescue high-quality food that would otherwise go to waste and give it a second life in the kitchen.

Because our ingredients change daily, our menus are always evolving - guided by the seasons and the creativity of our chefs.
